Aarcher is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage EHS programs across all manufacturing and logistics operations in the Pan American region. This strategic and field-engaged leadership role partners closely with plant managers, HR, and operations teams to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve continuous improvement in environmental and safety performance.
The ideal candidate brings multi-site EHS management experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and excels at both high-level strategy and hands-on field engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures across all Pan American facilities.

Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, local/national laws).

Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses; develop mitigation strategies.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Manage environmental compliance related to air and water emissions, hazardous waste, chemical storage, and emergency spill response.

Oversee and/or conduct EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Perform audits and inspections across all sites; document and drive compliance improvements.

Track and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership.

Collaborate with HR on wellness, ergonomics, and injury prevention programs.

Lead emergency response planning, crisis management, and routine safety drills.

Embed EHS considerations into project design, operational planning, and new facility launches.

Maintain all required permits and ensure timely regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in a regional or multi-site role.

Strong working knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations in Pan American countries, particularly the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil.

Proven experience managing regulatory compliance and implementing successful EHS programs.

Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and training facilitation skills.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across the Pan American region.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

Relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).

Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese highly preferred (English required).
