Aarcher is looking for an experienced Lead Industrial Hygienist to manage and assist in growth of the Industrial Hygiene team within the Environmental Consulting Department. Our client is a Petroleum Service and Construction company.  Typical work includes asbestos, lead, mold, PCBs, indoor air investigations, and remediation projects. Position requires both technical and managerial expertise.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene or other related science from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 to 7 years of direct experience
  • 4 years supervisory and project management experience.
  • Lead and Asbestos licensing in VA, MD and/or DC is required or willing to get license.
  • Must be familiar with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and have completed OSHA 40-hour.

Preferred:

  • CIH, CHMM, CSP and Hazwoper are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects and controlling project budgets.
  • Preparing/reviewing/approving project designs, reports, plans, and specifications.
  • Client interaction and development.
  • Daily supervision of team and developing team goals and objectives.
  • Assisting with marketing and business development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
