Senior Environmental Professional / Branch Manager

Aarcher Talent is seeking a Senior Environmental Professional/Branch Manager for a well-established national environmental consulting firm located in Annapolis, MD that specializes in the fields of soil/groundwater investigation/remediation; environmental/regulatory compliance; civil environmental engineering, wastewater, and stormwater consulting; construction, and GIS/databases processes.

Idea candidate will be a seller/doer from the fields of geology, engineering and/or compliance with experience in technical oversight of environmental investigation and remediation projects. Open to an experienced professional with other skill sets in the environmental or engineering fields, that would add to our capabilities. This individual should have experience working with regulatory agencies, staff mentoring and oversight; business development; office management, and excellent communications skills.

Senior Environmental Professional / Branch Manager Job Requirements

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Management and/or oversight of various environmental and compliance projects including, but not limited to: soil/soil vapor/groundwater investigation and remediation projects, compliance audits, waste/stormwater engineering, and a variety of due diligence related projects.
  • Management and technical oversight on projects to ensure success and compliance with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation of reports as well as reviewing reports and other documents prepared by project managers, staff engineers and geologists.
  • Strong office and staff management skills to include scheduling, mentoring, training, and helping staff to work effectively on projects.
  • Negotiate complex issues and technical solutions with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Business Development/Marketing

  • Business development in the environmental consulting field.
  • Leadership role in marketing and business development and help target and grow potential clients that fit the firm’s strategic plans.
  • Experience and knowledge of the mid-Atlantic Environmental service market, and have established relationships with private sector clients.
  • Responsible to develop their existing and new clients to meet business development goals.
  • BS/BA degree and 10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience. Professional Registration is preferred.
